Jacqueline Kennedy Admires Cezanne Donation
In this black and white photograph, First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy admires "House on the Marne" with Philippa Calan, granddaughter of the donor Charles A. Loeser in the Green Room on June 28, 1961. Loeser bequeathed eight paintings of Post-Impressionist Paul Cézanne to the White House after his death in 1928. This photograph is credited to White House photographer, Robert Knudsen.
